Meet LIV — the 10-year-old who didn't get the memo about acting her age.Yes, that's one eye open in her photo. No, she is not tired. She is suspicious. Specifically, she is suspicious that you came to this post without filling out an adoption application yet. She's watching. With one eye. That's all she needs.Liv is a 10 year old Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler, which on paper sounds like she should be napping in a sunbeam and asking for the news at a reasonable volume. She is not doing that. She is playing fetch. She is winning at tug-of-war. She is currently lapping her 4-month-old foster sibling Marlee on energy and honestly making the rest of us feel a little bad about ourselves. We asked the vet if maybe the paperwork was wrong. The vet said no. We remain skeptical.Things Liv is extremely serious about:Fetch · Tug-of-war · Squeaky toys · Car rides · Her person · Knowing exactly where you are at all times · Car rides (worth listing twice) · Being your co-pilot on literally any road tripWith people, Liv is an absolute sweetheart — loyal, affectionate, great with kids, and completely unbothered by cats (she has bigger things to think about, like the next car ride). She warms up to new people easily while still forming that deep, ride-or-die bond with her person. She will be your dog. She will know it. You will know it. Strangers at the gas station will know it.On the dog front: Liv does best flying solo or with a calm, easygoing companion. She can be selective with other dogs and has some food-guarding tendencies around them — slow intros are key. Most of the time she's a wagging, bouncy social butterfly; she just needs a chill co-inhabitant who won't misread her very passionate enthusiasm.Liv has so much love left to give — and honestly, the energy of a dog who didn't read the chapter on slowing down. She just needs her person to finally show up.Could that be you? Apply at EAPL.com — and her adoption fee is sponsored by an incredible donor, so all this love can be yours for nothing! ... Meet Asher — the adorable walking contradiction you didn't know you needed. At just 2.5 months old, this pittie puppy has already mastered the art of being simultaneously sweet and rambunctious — yes, both at once, and yes, he makes it work. By day, he's a pint-sized tornado: chasing toys, gnawing bones, and charging fearlessly at dogs twice his size (and half his size — he's an equal-opportunity chaos agent). By night? A world-class snuggle bug who will melt into your couch like he was always meant to be there.Asher has charmed every dog he's met — big, small, fluffy, scrappy — and he's already a potty-training pro who thrives on a schedule. Whether your family is loud and active or cozy and laid-back, Asher will adapt — and probably nap on your feet either way. This little cutie will be ready for his forever family on April 23rd.Think you can handle this much puppy love? #EAPL #adoptmea#findmyforeverL#coloradorescuedogsr#adoptabledogsofcolorado #rescuepuppiesofcolorado #rescuepuppies ...
