We have the cutest update on Blake.You all probably remember this cute face from his arrival (first picture). Well, Blake was moved to his new home last week and immediately decided he would go on a little adventure. He slipped out and took off-luckily he stayed close to his new home and eventually returned. Boy, did that give us all a scare!Blake, now named Ernie, has now decided his new bestie and his new home are much more fun than the scary woods, and we have a great update from his mom!"Where do I begin with the loveable and super speedy, Blake. We had a rough start on our first day as he decided to “go on walkabout” for about 9 hours with the whole community trying to find him. Eventually, he made his way back home. Since then he’s been, his confidence has grown each day. I’ve taken him to outdoor events with other dogs, etc and he’s just been great. On the third day, I knew he’d be a perfect fit for us. He and my 2 year old chihuahua started playing…. And they haven’t stopped. They are meant to be. I’m so grateful for EAPL and my Wandcrest/Whispering Pines community who came out in droves to help find Blake. I’m truly blessed to live in such a caring community."We are SO happy he found his way home and so thankful he has such a wonderful Forever! Have the best life, Ernie! Did you meet Gus this weekend at our adoption event? We know we are not supposed to have favorites, but we LOVE this dog. He came off transport SO scared. His foster has done an incredible job teaching him to trust and love. He is still looking for his Forever and is going to make someone the best buddy!
