Interested in helping our rescue out?? We’re looking for a new Volunteer Adoption Event Coordinator to help bring our adoption events to life!This role is perfect for someone who enjoys organizing, communicating, and creating positive experiences for people and pets alike. You’ll help plan and schedule events, work with venue partners, coordinate with the adoption team to fill volunteer roles, send updates to fosters, arrange transport for animals, and ensure all supplies and materials make it to the event. In short—you’ll help make every adoption event a success!Who we’re looking for:Someone organized, creative, and comfortable collaborating with lots of different people. Meet Archer! 🐾Archer is a handsome Border Collie/Lab mix who is almost 1 year old and weighs 58 pounds — and he is absolutely everything you could want in a dog.He brings the fun with his playful, puppy-like energy, but don't let that fool you — Archer has a wonderful off switch too. He spends most of his days calmly hanging out in a home office, patiently keeping his foster parent company while they work. Lazy mornings on the couch? He's in. Adventure at the park? Also in.Archer loves toys, cuddles, other dogs, and people — basically, he loves life. He's a natural social butterfly who gets along with everyone he meets. Fair warning: he also has a taste for shoes, so you may want to keep those out of reach while he's still working on what's his to chew! 😄The good news is that Archer is highly food motivated, which makes him an absolute joy to train. He's already almost fully house trained and is picking up basic manners quickly.
