**Adoption Update!**Goldie was pulled out of a burned down, abandoned house in Arkansas with 3 other pups. Thanks to an amazing foster, EAPL brought her to Colorado to give her a chance at a much better life. Well, Goldie has been renamed Frida and she found her Forever-look how content and at peace she is now!From her new mom: “Sweet Frida came into our lives in mid December a few days before the big power outage. We had been without a dog since last summer when we lost our dear Wesley. We were still missing him every day. There was an emptiness in our home without a dog… but with young grandchildren, we had to be completely confident that a new dog would be gentle and trustworthy. Fortunately, a dear friend of ours is a foster family for EAPL. She knew my situation and reached out to me when she began fostering Frida. The only way to know if this was the right dog for us was to see how she interacted with my 16 month old granddaughter. We arranged a visit and the two of them immediately fell in love with each other!Frida came into our home at a crazy time with the wild wind event and 4 day power outage followed by our ever lively holiday week. Frida took it all in stride!She is a wonderful addition to our family and we are grateful to have found her.
