You guys are BRINGING it with the updates lately. We LOVE this one. Blondie, now Lulu, found her Forever and it’s just perfection. Make sure to read the entire post and check out the amazing pictures and videos (in the comments). Don’t miss the slow-no video of Deacon the cat showing Lulu who is boss. Here you go!“We are so grateful to EAPL for allowing us to adopt Lulu (previously known as Blondie). Lulu is such a funny, smart, sweet, and wild little lady, and she has brought so much joy into our lives. She's been an incredible addition to our family - not only keeping up with her older brothers, but leading their goofy little pack. I can't believe that at only three months old, we've already been able to teach her sit, down, and stay. She's really receptive and excited about training, and we can't wait to see who she becomes.Her brother Denzel, our oldest, has been a little slower to warm up, but they've been chasing each other around and having a blast. Her other brother, Kal, is truly in love with her. We caught Lulu and Kal snuggling together in his bed last night, which absolutely melted our hearts.We adopted Kal in December, a month after we lost a very special dog named Marcus (my husband's soul dog). Kal had been at Longmont Humane Society for three months with no applications, and we think it may have been because of his appearance. He's a big black half German Shepherd, half Pit with a giant scar on his side - he looks a bit intimidating. He was definitely abused; he cowered when we raised our hands to pet him, but he's such a gentle and loving boy. He's been rounding Lulu up to come inside, showing her how to "dog," and it seems like they're going to be very close. Lulu has really opened him up - he's so much happier and more playful, and watches over her like a hawk.”Nothing else to say here. This is a match made in heaven.
