Meet Rocket! Rocket is an adorable 10-month-old Maltese mix with a big personality packed into a little body. This sweet, playful boy loves to run and play outside, then happily snuggle up next to you for TV time or relaxing on the couch. Like many young pups, Rocket is still learning the ropes. He can be a bit vocal at times and may bark at new noises or people, but with consistent training and guidance, he’s already making great progress. Once he gets going, he does well on a leash, and while he can be a little unsure at first, his confidence continues to grow. He would enjoy a confident friend to play with and go on walks with. Rocket is potty trained, knows his name, and does best when he has appropriate toys and chews of his own. He’s also great with kids and other dogs, making him a wonderful candidate for an active, loving home ready to help a young pup thrive. Looking for a playful companion with lots of love to give? Happy Monday! We have a bunch of new doggies that need fosters. Please read: Email us at eaplevergreen@eapl.com if you can foster. First timer? Fill out an application here: eapl.com/become-foster-home/ Please fill out entirely, including landlord's contact info. We cannot proceed with an application without landlord approval!You can absolutely foster to adopt, but we need fosters first to transport these pups here. Unless stated, we do not know how these dogs are with cats or kids. They are coming from a shelter out of state, so we can't set up meet and greets! Ready? Pixie - F Terrier x Cream 10 mos. 8.2 lbs. Pixie is currently with a foster out-of-state foster. She doesn't do well with the big dogs barking all around her in the shelter. She is not spayed yet so if we would want to have that done before she goes we would need to get it scheduled. Her DA2PP was given 2/17. She is available for the 3/3 transport or after.Brooks - M/N Lab/Pit x is out best guess red/white 2.5 yrs. 68.8 lbs. Brooks does well with dogs, cats, people. He was already neutered when he came into the shelter. His DA2PP was given 2/4 so he is available now!9 Pitbull puppies - These kids were born on 1/29 so would be available to tag now but not to travel until 3/31. We believe there are 6 males and 3 females.Ally - F Heeler x blonde 3 mos. 10.12 lbs. Very sweet little girl! Does fine with other dogs, cats, and people! She would be available 3/10Luna - F/S Lab x blk/brindle 2 yrs. 93 lbs. We are checking if she had vaccs prior to the one given 2/26. She would not be available until 3/17. She is good with other dogs and people and will be cat tested Monday.Midge, Gia and RueThese 3 siblings were surrendered at 3 mos and Rue is the only male. They are Catahoula, Coonhound x pups. Midge weighs 15 lbs., Gia is 9.14 lbs. and Rue is 16.12 They do well with other dogs and LOVE people, They had their DA2PP on 2/20 so would be available for the 3/10 transport.Puppies!! We are trying to help rehome these 7 pups. They are GSD/Pit x and the mom and dad are not available just pics here so you can see the parents. They have not had first shots yet but are coming in next week to have that done. We are looking at least 2 weeks for anyone to tag them but wanted to get their pics our there.**Update: Foster found for Anna and Faye** Anna & Faye - 2 Female terrier x dogs that are approx. 1 yr. Anna is 15 lbs. and Faye is 17 lbs. They were found on the side of the road in a wire crate. They are timid girls. It seems like they have been together for a while or maybe since they were born! They are a great medium size dog, just need to learn to trust.They are available anytime. Their DA2PP was given 2/14.Miracle is the last dog! Shayla who is in the picture with her is also available but likes to whine/growl with absolutely no fear biting but loves us! She will be one of those dogs that will whine and hide when she meets new people until she get to know them!Miracle - F/S Chiweinie tan 8 mos. 8 lbs. Miracle was living in a car with 2 Dobermans and her mom! Everyone else was tagged but her. She does great with other dogs and cats but in true chi form she runs from you until she knows you, which does not take long for her to figure out!
