One thing about Rescue, there is NEVER a dull moment.Lily is a sweet 2 year old pup who was found tied up to a tree, tied up so tightly the rescue had to cut her collar off. They think she was tied up for an entire year! She is good with dogs, house trained and has great manners, super sweet with people. We had a foster for Lily and they had family emergency and had to back out. While looking for a new foster, the shelter discovered that Lily was heartworm positive. So here we are, begging for a medical foster for Lily. This will involve 5 months of treatment, mostly with low activity (as in kennel rest) for Lily. EAPL will pay for all the treatments and medical care and food, supplies etc. We believe every dog deserves a home, especially one who has been through so much. HW is very treatable, but it's an expense and time commitment shelters can't take on. It is NOT transmissible from dog to dog. Read the full guide below and please email us asap if you can help!
