Say Hi to Ford! Ford is a neutered Husky/Retriever mix, a very handsome red/creme 3.5 years old and 73 lbs. Ford was found as a stray at the local lake and taken to the shelter, held on a stray hold, and never claimed. He has turned out to be the bestest dog! The folks at the shelter weren't kidding when they said he was wonderful. He has such a happy disposition. New people and dogs are just friends he hasn't met yet. He LOVES his pack and would love someone who has experience with larger dogs. He's strong! His EAPL foster can see him being a great running or hiking buddy - a great wing man. He thinks the dog door is the best idea ever and loves being outside. He does so well with other dogs and people-Kitties are unknown. Put in an application at eapl.com. ***Urgent**These dogs are being surrendered (owner has to move due to divorce and cannot bring the dogs) and need a home by the 31st of March. We have very little time for these 3.The 2 chis are 6 yrs and 2 yrs and are bonded - Tango the lab is 10 and has always been with them, but we will have to try to find a home separate for Tango. It's extremely unlikely we can find a place for all 3 together.Tango the Black Lab loves to play catch (and tries to catch squirrels).The two chis like to sunbathe and are a bit scared of kids.
