FROM PREVIOUS RESCUE:  Pookie was a stray eating leftovers on the porch where other longtime feral visitors were being fed. She would hide until the others had eaten and left and then she would eat whatever was left.  At least one of the ferals attacked her and left her with an injury to one hip but it has healed now. A nice woman took her in.  She would have kept her but she had 9 indoor cats.  Pookie is a talker and is very sweet and affectionate. She loves brushing, massaging, petting and even likes belly rubs.  All I have to do is walk in the room and call her and she comes immediately for affection.  She’s very food motivated and will eat just about anything.  She loves to sit on a lap and she’s fine with being picked up and held.  Pookie is about 2 1/2 years .Pookie is now at the EAPL Cat Adoption Center at Chow down in Evergreen waiting for her permanent home.  She was adopted and for 3 months the adopters tried to get their resident cat to accept Pookie, but it just didn’t work out.  So the poor girl has been returned to us.  She needs another chance, so come and visit her.
