Kiska is an older – 14 year old, short-haired calico with beautiful markings. She was left behind when her owner moved – can you imagine that? Kiska is in excellent health for her age. She is quite unhappy in the cat room with all the other cats, so she keeps to herself most of the time. But she really seems to enjoy the pets from the volunteers and will roll over and purr – tho she will swipe when she has had enough. Kiska was adopted with another cat and the adopter tried for 6 months to make it work, but Kiska just did not like the other cat. So she needs to be the only cat, but she did fine with the resident gentle dog and was great with the adopters. She has been back at the EAPL Adoption Center located in the Chow Down store in Evergreen for way too long. She is not very happy to be back and is hoping for a new person to give her a comfy new home to live her remaining years.
