Katie, a short haired white/grey tabby girl, about 1.5 years, had an extremely bumpy ride. Rescued from New Mexico, very pregnant, she gave birth on during transport here to Colorado. After her kittens were weaned she developed a bit of separation anxiety. She just wonders, what next. We are confident that once she’s settled in a bit, knowing she’s safe and has good care, she will become the wonderful girl she’s meant to be. Be patient if you come to visit her, PTSD happens to animals as well, with all the trauma and changes in such a short period of time. Her original rescuers (who do not have much success with cat adoptions – thus she is here with us) say she is very smart, but needs lots of enrichment. Still very much a kitten personality. And she doesn’t really like the other cats. Will jump on your lap for pets and then decide she has had enough. She is quite fun…. Come see this crazy little girl at the EAPL Cat Adoption Center at Chow Down in Evergreen.
