What a story!  Poor girl, Pixie, was found at a feral colony where cats were being monitored and fed.  At some point one of her back legs got mangled, and since she wasn’t vetted, she endured the pain of it becoming a useless limb – it finally sluffed off.  And to top it off Pixie ended up pregnant; then birthed, cared for and weaned 5 healthy babies.  Most of the babies have been adopted and Pixie is now ready for a home.  She is about two and is one of the sweetest, social, loving cats we’ve had here – in spite of the trauma’s she’s endured and being flown in from OK.  She is at a foster home in Evergreen.  This girl deserves the best – has no issues with her leg.  Know that she is wary and sometimes afraid of other adult cats, so a very slow introduction would need to be made for her to feel completely comfortable.  Complete a cat application on the rescue’s website to meet this special girl.  www.eapl.com
