Have you met MARSHALL?

Marshall is very social and friendly and good natured. He has already learned quite a few commands and his personality is winning. He hasn't bothered our cats, crate-trained, and fully housebroken. He is about 9 month s old and 40 lbs. (he might get to be around 50.) T he vet believes that he is some type of terrier mix .
The transferring shelter said he was an Irish Wolfhound mix BUT our local vet does not believe so. Marshall was picked up as a stray and brought into the shelter by the public and no one claimed him. Due to his injury he was released to rescue as he needed medical care in a timely manner. His front left leg was broken at some point months ago. Unfortunately due to the age of the injury (the shelter believes someone kicked him or dropped him as a puppy and broke his leg and never got it taken care of), two orthopedic surgeons have said it cannot be repaired at this point. It does not give him any pain. Marshall may never be a 14er climber, backcountry snowshoe or skier but he will be a wonderful shorter hiking, walking, exploring, loving companion, friend, snuggle dog for the rest of his life.
