Halo

Meet Halo (aka Sam), is he a striking dog or what?  Wow what a smile!  You just know that he loves life and that he is a happy guy.  YET he was found as a stray, and no one came to claim him. And worse yet, no one went to the shelter to adopt him. Halo is 2yrs old so we gave him a birthday of (11/26/2015) and he is currently 60 pounds. The photographer said that Halo is curious, happy, and focused.  He will love learning new things and going on adventures with his new forever family. They are guessing his breed to be a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix.

Darling

Darling, why yes she is!! This “older” lady deserves a chance to enjoy the rest of her life in peace. How stressful it must have been to be in the shelter. Although the shelter said she was 2 years old, we are thinking she is much older as she has some arthritis in her hips… Best guess? You tell us!! We believe 6-8 yrs of age.  Regardless she is looking for a home of her own. She’s a shepherd mix and a sweetheart of a girl. To meet this lovely lass, go to www.eapl.com and fill out an application.

Frosty

Frosty is as chill as his name.  A super friendly orange and white fellow estimated to be about 2 years old.  Frosty was found in eastern CO as a stray, but very, very friendly.  He was clearly someone’s cat, but rescuers could not find any owners and couldn’t keep him, so they relinquished him to EAPL.  Frosty is very relaxed in the Adoption Center and takes turns greeting visitors or lounging in a cozy.  He is a very alert and responsive young cat and will make someone a wonderful companion.  Come meet this friendly and regal boy today at the Cat Adoption Center in Chow Down.

Simba

Simba, (who is about 18 and is also declawed) lost his home when his owner passed away.  Once he came to EAPL, blood work was done.  He is in great shape for an old man.  He was in foster for a while and his foster said “Simba was the most active, aware senior we’ve had in a very long time.  His favorite spot was on top of the refrigerator.  He was also very helpful at dinner time when wet food was being given.  Still jumps, runs, plays, at an old man pace, but certainly has a few more years left as a wonderful lap cat.”  Won’t go wrong giving this sweet senior a home to spend his last years in comfort.  Currently residing at the EAPL Cat Adoption Center at Chow Down.

Zeus

Zeus, a handsome brown tabby boy about 10 years old, was at some point someone’s pet who was abandoned.  Same old story, just a new cat.  He’s a wonderful boy, a bit hesitant at first with so many big personalities around him at his new home; however he warms up fast – loves pets and treats and is quite active.  No one deserves to be left behind; certainly he’s deserving of a wonderful new home.  Bloodwork looks great for beginning his senior years.  Think he’ll be a great lap cat once he has the opportunity.  Currently residing at EAPL’s Cat Adoption Center hosted by Chow Down in Evergreen.

Cloverfield

Cloverfield is a beautiful medium haired calico girl, about 9 years old, in great shape, but unfortunately the result of a divorce left her without a home.  Cloverfield came to them as a kitten, so she has only known one home.  As a result, she’s just a tad shy still, but has settled in well and loves attention.  In her first home, she was exposed to kids and adults of all ages.  There was a large dog in the home too; they got along well.  Loves to lay in the sunshine.  You’ll find her lounging in EAPL’s Cat Adoption Center hosted by Chow Down in Evergreen, usually by the window.  Come meet this stunning girl.

Bubba and White Cloud

After being overlooked in the shelter for 8 months, we offered to take these two bonded brothers, Bubba and White Cloud, who actually seek each other out daily for comfort and security.  Initially quite shy, they become more social, even greeting visitors, since they are familiar with their surroundings.  White Cloud is still a little cautious.  We are holding onto them to go as a pair.  Anyone looking for two wonderful cats, with gentle personalities, who will offer great companionship, should head to the EAPL Cat Adoption Center at Chow Down in Evergreen for a meet and greet.  More than worth the visit.  They’ve had a tumultuous few months – never their fault when an owner is evicted and they end up in a shelter.  Let’s make this new chapter a good one.
